~ One night in Paris ~

How could I ever forget

our shared lovers kisses;

like heaven sent manna

you let it rain over my hungry body:

You gave

and I took…

The oil of crushed rose petals

hung heavy and intoxicating in the air,

mixed with the musky scent

of our love shared...

The rhythmic creaking

of the leather sofa

still resounds in my dreams,

and our midnight sweat that swirled my navel

- sliding in streams down my sides –

threatens to drown me

in my memories...

The primitive sound in your voice,

as you cried my name,

still reverberates

in my half awake state;

the most beautiful sound

that echoes throughout the universe

until the end of days.

We were placed under a magic spell

– that night in Ol’ Paris –

a love fest etched

in this turbulent soul of mine;

moments stored away in our memory box

for days when the longing gets too much

and my heart cries

for a brand new dawn...

  1. In passionate love entwined - that is where I find you -
    in losing my heart...I found my soul!
